The processors connected to the heat sink...the heat sinks connected to the ...

Prof. Mac obviously uses what he learned in methods class. The activities were once again appropriate to develop an understanding of computer components through a variety of experiences. The pretest helps me know what the teacher is expecting me to learn. Great sense of timing... short power points...if I was doing the outlining/highlighting important chapter points at home I could have spent hours over it instead of the 20 minutes he assigned. I think everyone did a really great job in that 20 minutes. Rehashing what we learned through identifying the 50 computers parts really generated my brain cells. My highest regards for the teacher who is willing to tote around all that gear to enhance my learning.

I too enjoyed learning with the hands on activity. I'm always frightened by pretests but this one wasn't too bad. I tried to read the chapters, but with all the research papers to read and webliography to do I just didn't have time to do more than scan. I would like to have also worked on identifying and maybe even learning to replace would a video card. I actually had to do that in my home computer a couple of months ago. We're still not sure that was what the thing needed, but it's working for now.
